Dream Houses

Although Judee moved nine times in her life, all of her homes were in Ontario, Canada. Her first house was in London, Ontario, where she lived for ten to twelve years. Her dad built it because he wanted his dream house: a big, open, and spacious home for his family. It was a three-bedroom, three-bathroom house.

It had a big sunroom for his wife because she loved to paint. He hired a private contractor to build the house, who was known for building great houses. One of Judee’s houses was a big house with a big hill on the property. It was on the Second Line in Caledon.

Her kids loved to go sledding on the hill, but they eventually moved from this house too. Their next property had a kidney-shaped pool in the backyard, which backed onto a conservation area. She moved there because her husband wanted a house with a pool. They also moved there because they decided they didn’t need a big property anymore, since their kids had grown up and were out of the house.

They stayed there for a while, but decided to move again because they did not want to take care of the pool anymore. It took too much time to take care of and they did not use it that often. Also, there were new and more modern houses being built nearby. Judee and her husband now live in a smaller, more modern house.

There isn’t a pool in the backyard, but it is a whole lot easier to take care of!
