An Intergenerational Program is the core of the GrandPals™ experience. Each intergenerational program is a minimum of 8 sessions, where GrandPals (order adult volunteers) share their life stories and experiences with a younger generation.
Unsponsored intergenerational Programs are billed automatically on their start date. You may also purchase program credits in bulk at a reduced rate. An intergenerational program may also be sponsored by a local business in your community.
Program sponsorships are a way for a community to offset their program cost, to build sustainability, and to foster relationships within the community. The GrandPals™ platform provides tools to network in your community, and facilitates the collection of sponsorships.
We require a credit card to sign up as part of our strategy to limit abuse of the platform.
The credit card on your account will only be billed at the start date of your intergenerational program in the event that either the program has not been sponsored, or you have not pre-purchased a program credit.
Your card WILL NOT be charged until the start date of your intergenerational program.
